Water vedute: Ljubljana, 31st of January 2014

We sit under a heater, near Ljubljanica and we drink mulled wine. It is cold, but when we approach the center of the table, it becomes warmer. What a privilege, to enjoy the protection of our own little piece of world surrounded by winter. With mulled wine that we drink from glasses made of some weird material that is neither paper nor plastic. One should visit Ljubljana in a pre-Christmas time. Arsen (Dedić) would perhaps recognize in that all a bourgeoisie yearning for Mitteleuropa, but I feel fine. One should not intellectualize too much sometimes.

There are cities which do not pressure a man, in which he feels good even in crowds. Ljubljana is such a city. Varaždin is also such a city.

Evenings out in Ljubljana. Summer. Small coffee places with colorful terraces. In good company with Union or Laško.

From Jožef Stefan to FMF and back. Going for a cup of coffee underneath Stefan, at Majtka's. It is nice when it's sunny.
